An evening given to Prosecco, with an exclusive selection from Valdo.

Three bottles anchored the tasting: Rive di San Pietro di Barbozza, Cuvée di Boj and Cuvée 1926. A “Rive” bottling comes from a single steep hillside within the Valdobbiadene zone, which is about as specific as Prosecco gets.

It makes a useful counterweight to a shop full of Sicilian bottles: same country, an entirely different idea of what a glass of wine is for.
